  16. I was on the phone with MicroSoft today at $2.95 a minute to find
  17. out why my new Windows NT wouldn't install. It turns out that if your
  18. machine runs the full Intel chip set, ( Not JUST the Pentium, but
  19. all the supporting chips as well),  you probably can't use internal
  20. caching with NT. I turned OFF the cache and it works fine, but all
  21. of the speed advantages go out the window because the machine
  22. pokes along at about 1/4 speed. As soon as I turn caching back on
  23. NT refuses to finish booting.

  25. Has anyone come across this problem and potentially know a 
  26. solution?
